Have you ever seen one of those memes about shacking up in a remote destination for some sort of incentive? Yeah, epic fail. With everything that is going on in the world right now, I can only laugh at the irony. I mean, it’s painfully obvious that few people can even remotely handle the implications of those memes. Heck, they can’t even handle staying inside to save their own lives.

We’ve either acted or have seen someone acting cray cray these last few months, and with good reason. Quarantine life is no fun. But, it’s obviously necessary and I don’t believe I stand alone when I say we are all in desperate need of a little vacation from this madness.

With that being said, I’m hosting a quarantine contest. It is open to all Second Life residents and runs from now until Saturday, June 6th. To enter, all you need to do is capture your best SL quarantine moment. The subject can be whatever your heart desires, as long as it tells a story of what life has been like for you in the last few weeks. Entries may also include a description as to why you deserve to win, but this is not mandatory.

To submit your entry, upload your photo to Flickr with the title #QuarantineSLife and tag me, Cara Olivieri. Then paste your link in the comment sections of this post and the Flickr post so I can check it out!

Photo editing is permitted, but it isn’t required. Instead, I will be looking at the most creative and real photos that capture what we’re all going through. If you have any questions, feel free to hit me up inworld or comment here or on Flickr!

Winners will be chosen and announced here on Sunday, June 7th. They’ll also be contacted inworld to receive their prizes.
